Orbital Lasers participated in the Japan-India Economic Forum

革新的な宇宙用レーザー技術を開発する株式会社Orbital Lasers（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役：福島忠徳、以下「当社」）は、2025年8月29日（金）に開催された日印経済フォーラムに参加いたしましたことをお知らせします。

本フォーラムは、石破内閣総理大臣およびインド共和国ナレンドラ・モディ首相の同席の下で開催され、民間企業による170件の覚書等が結ばれたことが発表されました。その中には、当社が昨年12月にインドのInspeCity Space Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.（以下、InspeCity社）と締結した業務提携覚書（MoU）も含まれています。

本MoUは、当社の宇宙用レーザーペイロードとInspeCity社の衛星プラットフォームを組み合わせた軌道上サービス衛星の開発に関する両者協業を推進していくものであり、本年6月28日には、両社共同執筆による軌道上サービスの運用構想(ConOps)に関するホワイトペーパーも公表しています。

当社は今後も、国内外の事業者及び政府等とのパートナーシップを通じて持続可能な宇宙環境の構築に貢献して参ります。

［Tokyo, Japan] Orbital Lasers Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tadanori Fukushima; hereinafter “our company”), a developer of innovative space laser technologies, is pleased to announce its participation in the Japan-India Economic Forum held on August 29, 2025.

The forum was convened in the presence of Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba of Japan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Republic of India, where it was announced that 170 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and other agreements had been concluded by private enterprises. Among them was the MoU signed in December 2024 between Orbital Lasers and InspeCity Space Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. (“InspeCity”), an Indian space startup.

This MoU promotes collaboration between the two companies to develop an on-orbit servicing satellite that integrates Orbital Lasers’ space laser payload with InspeCity’s satellite platform. On June 28, 2025, the two companies also jointly published a white paper presenting a Concept of Operations (ConOps) for on-orbit servicing.

Orbital Lasers will continue to contribute to the creation of a sustainable space environment through partnerships with domestic and international industry players, as well as government agencies.
